Noctilux Rocks... literally! (concert pics here)

The other night I went shooting "Bulutsuzluk Ozlemi", a seminal Turkish rock band and I brought my MP (loaded with Tri-X) & Nocti along my D3 kit. I must say I really enjoyed using it and had no problems focussing the Nocti @ f1. Here are some results, exposed around ISO 1600 and processed in Diafine:

First of all, thank you, I am glad you enjoyed 😀 As far as the post-processing, I scanned with Coolscan 5000 (all standard settings) and then opened them in PSCS3 and did some levels adjustments (basically increasing contrast a bit darkening the midtones), sharpening, resizing - that's about it. It was my first time with Diafine @ 1600, normally I use it @ 1200 and I must say I quite liked the results. Hope this helps, let me know if you have any more questions 😀

These shots are ace!! i love the intimate feeling you have gained with the shallow DoF and the grainy look. if the colour shots are the D3 shots i prefer those taken through the Noctilux personally - i feel they have more... presence maybe?
