I'm sold!

Kinda. I'm waiting for a version to come out that is more styled like the 40mm Nokton with the focusing tab, winged aperture, etc

Very nice ... sometimes I can't believe I sold my Nokton for the crazy bokeh of the 1.2 Canon and the 1.4 and 1.2 Zuiko. this is very smooth! :)

If only they made the Helios 103 for the Kievs available in LTM or M mount.
For less than $20 you would get similar character in the images.
Pity that the Kiev was a mechanical POS.

... and able to focus to 0.7m... and maybe a bit smaller too.

I've seen a lot of great pictures out of this lens.

My 50th nokton is in Moscow for a week already (shipped from cameraquest) and they still cannot delivery it! Awww you make me cry

Windraider, for my Kiev II I have the Helios 103 also, and it's a good lens too, what does it mean "mechanical POS" ?

Ciao

Holy Cow, this lens rocks! Maybe it's because I'm a rather newbie, but I think the bokeh on this is awesome. These photos were either f/1.5 or possibly f/2. The film is Portra 400 NC, certainly not your father's 400 speed film.
