Nokton f1.1 vs ?

Without a huge amount of M-mount experience, I've really enjoyed the VM 50/f1.5, and obviously its significantly cheaper than a Summilux!

The 50/f1.5 on HP5+

... yep, that was my thoughts, even Mr Puts had to admit it was the better lens, well except for the 50 summicron R iirc

I didn't care for the 50mm 1.1 for two reasons: the bokeh could be harsh depending on the background, and if 1.4 wasn't fast enough then 1.1 usually wasn't either. I'm currently without a 50mm right now. So the 40mm 1.4 is my only M mount lens right now.

There is a 50f1.1 in the classified for $500 and the Photo Village has several for $799 but I am going to pass at the moment. I am leaving for a trip around the world in Sept or Oct and I want to pack small. Am already freaking out about two Leica M's with 35/50/90 or 21/35/90. The 21, 50, and 90 are very small. The 35 could be as I have a 35f2.8 C Biogon or I may take my 35f1.2 for a high speed lens. I probably won't decide on the final kit until I get on the airplane.

Thanks for all the input. On the web, a lot of the reviews are pretty negative so I wanted some real photographers and what they felt about the lens.
