Nokton f1.2 first photos... that thing is amazing!!

gave some lessons in snowboarding over the christmas holidays... as always, my cam were with me, my NOKTON too... ;)

Great shots! From the looks of it, the 35/1.2 doesn't appear to be too large, in practical use. Anyone know how the length of it compares with the Leica 50/1.4 Asph?
 
I have both the 35f1.2 and the 50f1.4 Asph. I'd say that the Nokton is about a centimeter thicker in diameter and about 2-3 centimeters longer. It weighs slightly more too.

Thanks for the info. So the 35/1.2 is probably about as long as the 50/14 asph with the hood extended.
 
I hate threads like this.
They make me want to go out and buy gear. The sad reality is that I doubt very much I could match your results. On the plus side, the realization just saved me some money. :)
