"Non paying bidders" can't get negative feedback?

In fact, sellers can't post negative feedback?

What a stupid system.

I've got a non-paying bidder now, and it is just wasting my time.

Why shouldn't I be able to warn others?

btw, to stay relevant to RFF, it is for a rangefinder lens.

grrrr.

The eBay feedback system was changed quite some time ago so that sellers could no longer leave anything but positive feedback for buyers, regardless of the outcome of the sale. Sorry. It is what it is.

You can leave a comment with your 'positive' feedback which is more descriptive if anyone cares to read it. eBay claims they monitor disputes and if a buyer continuously has issues that appear to be their fault, they'll terminate their accounts. I don't know how true that is, but that's what I've been told.

I've had issues w/ shady sellers in the past, and the problem with the old feedback system is that if you dinged them, they'd just ding you back.
I prefer it now. Yeah it sux when someone doesn't pay, but nothing has changed hands so it is 'only' a time waste. But what sux more is if the seller ships something that did not meet the description etc etc
