That's weird.. my target had 3 levels of scanning. I usually ask for medium res because the high res are friggin' huge files. But if you don't ask, they will give you low res.

Walmarts have also been removing film machines over the past year. The contracts are coming up on the Fuji machines and they aren't being renewed. Also removing them when a store remodels. Just eight years ago Walmarts typically had 24 foot long aisle of film. Now, all film fits onto a four foot section. At one time they carried several different slide films, 110, APS, both silver and C-41 B&W, and film from four different companies (Kodak, Fuji, Polaroid, 3M.) Now they only carry Fuji C-41 200, 400, 800. Ironically, they have just recently cut the number of digital point & shoot cameras they stock by a third. People are now using cell phones to take their photos.
