Normandy, any advice?

I'll be spending a week in Normandy in August, wondered if anyone had any pointers for good places to shoot street?

Where in Normandy? There are more beaches and beach towns in Normandy (Deauville/Trouville, Mont Saint-Michel, etc.). Bigger cities to "shoot street" may be Giverny or Rouen.

Keep in mind that "Normandy" is about the size of western Wisconsin.

Larky, there is plenty of good place to go around Normandy/ Bretagne. do not hesitate to drive a bit to "La Baie de Somme" for nature, Mont St-Michel, Avranche, Rennes for a crazy friday/saturday drinks, Vannes, St-Malo gorgeous place with (Rock festival, La route du Rock) in August, Etretat for the lovely Cliffs, Concarneau it's beautiful city. how you will have enough time.

And beware, France's WMD is called Calvados. Limit yourself to a small glass between courses at mealtimes...

Change of plans, now going to stay in a farm house in the middle of a Vineyard in Landreville. Old school village, could be good or very bad photographically. Either way, Vineyard and France and a week off = good times. 🙂
