If Nikon comes out with a full-frame DSLR with better specs than D700 (but doesn't cost an arm and a leg like D3X/S), then one of those too

I've listed X100, M4-P and a Barnack so far, but I'm always thinking of another M2 although I have M2 and MP... M2 is quite addictive.

Don't need another camera but the only digi I have is my old Pentax 43 WR and I could use an update.
If the X100 feels as good as it looks then it's a contender. My only definite purchase will be a new film scanner!

And probably an LX5, especially if the LX3 batteries and hood adapter will work on it.

I may just have to trade in the m4/3 for the Fuji x100, if the performance matches up to its looks. I only have one m4/3 lens (20mm f1.7, awesome lens) and cannot stand manual focusing the M lenses, so I'd be all over the x100. One lens is ok for me!

Excellent choice, coincidently I got one in the mail today, after parting ways with my last one ~20 years ago. I'm not totally thrilled with the FM3A viewfinder, I know I will be thrilled with the F3.

We think alike ... I'm also not enthralled with my FM3A's viewfinder and hence the move to an F3. I now have a couple of Zeiss lenses in ZF mount and they don't feel right on the FM3A ... I really need to do them justice! 😀

Ideally, an M9. More likely, an X-100. But getting the Fuji would be stupid, because it would set back the M9 purchase by $1000.

...though I failed to pick up a Konishiroku Pearl II (seller not willing to ship it, only selling locally, would have bought it blind for the $50 asking price) and a Voigtlander Vitessa ($20, I found it at 11pm, emailed and waited until the next morning to call but it was already gone) in the last week. I had no plans to pick them up ahead of time either. 😉
