My first RF was a 20E Canonet. Great camera but I bought a Leica the next month.
My first MF camera was a Yashica Mat 124. Great camera, had it CLA'd too. But the Hasselblad lust was too great to overcome.
Today I bought a really nice, almost mint, black 500C/M kit wit 80mm f2.8 T* Planar, A12 back and a few niceties like a quick release plate, a few rolls of film and macro rings. It looks and feels like new!
Sorry had to share that...

Why apologize? It's a great camera outfit and sounds like it is in great condition. You'll not only like it but will likely make good images too. Hasselblad takes a litle "getting used to"... be patient. Congrats!

Shoot.
Congrats
the few times I've handled a Hassie, I found the mirror slap the most annoying thing, but I'm sure you'll get used to it
Hope you have either the focusing screen with gridlines or a prism finder - I find even using the 45º finder it's hard to keep the horizon level.

I have a nice 500 kit that never gets used. If I could just find some decent processing/scanning, I'd love to use it.
