...question. But I´ll try it anyway 🙂 . Hi all of you out there. I just received my latest addition to my SLR collection. I´ts a well used, but fully functional Minolta XD7(XD11 in the US). Althogh I discovered two problems immediately: the leatherette is awfully shrunken and the filmdoor is scratched and seems to be hard to close and I don´t know if it actually closes as it should. Anyone of you have any experiences in changing the leatherette on a Minolta SLR to a new one from Camera Leather? Anyone of you who have a spare filmdoor you can ship to Sweden?

I cannot personally help you out - but you might try seaching eBay for a "parts" XD-7/11 that still has an intact back you can cannibalize.
