Now I have 3 enlargers

Most people I know think that owning a multitude of old film cameras is loony, but several enlargers? Its a definite illness.

Hey...wait a minute...Frank has ten go after him...I have two and I use both of them too...I'm OK...sorry Frank...:D:cool::eek:

I've got three: A Beseler 45M, an Omega B-22, and a tiny Durst. The Omega came from my old high school, the Beseler from my university back in 2007. The head of the technicians tried to sell it for $500, I said no thanks. The next day he told me I could just have it. The Durst came from an antique dealer along with some trays, paper and a cibachrome kit.

oh yeah, this can be addictive... I've got 5 by now, 4 set up, but constantly just use one - the so well done Durst 138 with a color head on.
The others are a Durst M601 for the occasional 35mm neg where I want to print with a condensor head. A very old no name 4x5 in thing from the 50's, and two Omega whatever 6x7 ones- they have to leave...

Enlargers are like rabbits;)

Ha ha, I don't feel so bad now. I have an Omega D2V and a Beseler 45, both in nice working condition and with lots of accessories. However, I still have a cheap and shaky 35mm-only enlarger, the same one that I had set up in the basement bathroom in my parents' house nearly 40 years ago, but it's been converted to a desktop microphone stand, and I'm thinking of converting it yet again to a lamp!

I have THREE -- an LPL C7700 pro up to 6x7 format with Colour head ( bought) a DURST M601 up to 6x6 format ( given ) and a DURST M305 with colour head ( given ) -- I have to move some off my bench sometimes into the living room and get into trouble with the Wife -- lenses are : 50mm f4.5 E- Rokkor, 105mm f4.5 E-Rokkor, 50mm f2.8 El-Nikkor ( bought), Schneider Componon 80mm f5.6 , El-Nikkor 50mm f4, Wray 'Supar' f4.5 75mm and Wray 'Supar' f4.5 50mm (given )

I laughed when I saw the title.
At one time, I simultaneously had a Saunders LPL4500XL, a Leitz Focomat IIc and V35. And no darkroom.

They are all gone, but now I have a Durst L1200 that I only tuned on last week.

And I regret selling the Focomat IIc.

I have one, an Omega D2 with the variable condenser which covers all my formats (35mm,6x6,6x7,6x9,4x5) so I've been able to resist getting another one...so far.

I only have one, a Beseler 23CII, but now I'm thinking... But wait. Is this collecting, or hoarding? I just need to know what to tell my wife.

That's a discovery for me, never realized anyone could have more than 1 (or 2) enlargers... I have only one (Meopta Opemus 7 Meograde). Have not printed for a year or so...

Im down to 2 after letting 2 go to recycling/landfill. Gone are a Durst AC707 and a Meopta Axomat 5. Staying, Durst M70 wit MG head and Omega D3 with colorhead.
Felt bad about letting themm go but nobody offered them a home.
Best regards

I rescued a Beseler 23cII this morning. I really am going to have to start printing now.

There is an EL-Nikkor on it. I have a few of those too.

I have 12 , Beseler 23C III , one Beseler 4X5 , at my school , one B22 and one Beseler 23C at my own lab .

And 27 great students this term ! Not all at the same time.

Black &White is alive and well in Portland .

One. Saunders 4x5. Bought new in '97. Don't feel a need for another. My darkroom is small. Haven't printed in a month, but probably will be within the next 10 days.

Guys, I am looking for a better enlarger - I want to have an easier time adjusting contrast for B&W (my simple Beseler just has a drawer ), and at some point experiment with color . If you have a working color enlarger "in your way" I will pay shipping ...
