It seems that the Art Director from the New York Times is a fan and follower of "Maggie's" blog. There have been mucho "likes" on the blog and Instagram for the photography.
Monday's post features "Baby-Dog" AKA "Beagle-Face" being a Runway-Dog sporting his muzzle which is part of the narrative in the blog post.
BTW Beagle-Face thinks he is Brad Pitt and knows that he is good looking. LOL.

I did it again, When I got my Canon EOS1DS I found out that the red squares did
not light up on the viewfinder screen and I finally found a EOS1DS body which
had a broken shutter and after really thinking about I went for it and took it
apart piece by piece and found out by removing the top plate that the camera
received a smack by the hotshoe and there's a small mirror prism that reflex's
the light to the screen was broken. I transplanted the whole prism assembly on
top and put it all together, boy there was a heck of a lot screws and in the end
of all this I fixed it it light's, now I could see where I'm focusing. What really
did this for me was when I went to the parade on Halloween I could not see
were I was focusing on it was hit or miss and started bug me open her I did.

was the Fuji XT1?

Christmas came early for me ... the XF 35mm 2.0 arrived today. As you predicted, it is just as fast & sweet on X-E2 as on your X-T1. Here is a sample image of Assemblywoman Linda Rosenthal taken with the new 35mm.

Well, it was at 6400 and I brought up the brightness in post so...not really indicative of its real quality here.

It seems that Christmas has come early for me also. I have realized that I kinda accumulated so many treasures that I'm at a point where I don't need any more cameras, bikes, guitars, basses, watches, amps, stereo, diamond rings... I even have two great printers that I consider durable goods that I can keep running for the rest of my life.
With retirement in mind I think I have enough luxury treasures that I don't need any more. Interesting point is the level of satisfaction, I'm surprised at what I accomplished, and I'm glad I never compromised on quality or expense.

I got it now, finally! You guys rarely let me win the beauty contest and keep pushing me to accumulate stuff. I am up to a point that my apartment can't take anymore. I have been following the inspiration from the "Paying It Forward" thread on RFF, and have been feeling good with the holiday season just around the corner.

How many great cameras does one need. Funny thing is that I need 15 (recent count and all good ones that are either fresh or just overhauled). LOL.

I'm pretty happy with what I have. Know that there are limits to how much gear one can justify if they are to be used and not become Shelf Queens. I followed your "Best tool for the job," expression to accumulate the 15 cameras that I own and use. Each one is kinda special with its own purpose.
Know that I probably have too many lenses...
The two printers I now own can last a long time, and if I want I could probably keep them going indefinitely if I'm stubborn. Not a bad idea since both are work horses.
My 4 bikes are for my health, fitness and my attempt to stay young.
Anyways I'm really happy in how I spent my money. I have some nice stuff to show for it, and the stuff I own will last a long time. Of course lately I've been obsessed with retiring and many of my actions all lead to a long term change of lifestyle.

Just 4? I had 9. Just sold 2. One is now in storage, as I may move another there. Trying to get down to 4 in the apartment so I can give Ethan more room. 🙂
