New York NYC Fashion Week

Cal.. How is the 28 cron working for you? :)

Jeff,

This lens changed my life, basically its my FOV on a Leica, and I already I can't live without it.

I call the 28 Cron "Arnold" because the focus and handling is so much like my 35 Cron V.4. Its a bigger lens that I consider like my Bokeh King, but on steroids.

Had to get rid of that fugly hood leftover from the version 4 Elmarit. The mucho expensive scalloped hood looks boss and is muy macho on my rig. I found that a standard 62mm snap cap fits the front of my new hood. Also the 12466 hood also fits the 35 Lux ASPH if any of you guys are as vain as me and want to try it on.

Definately my favorite lens. Very aggressive looking on my pimped out rig. Fast-fast shooting and easy to shoot lots of film because I find it inspiring. F2.0 and close focus is a game changer. Also the added DOF over 35's makes it better for low light hand-held. The 28 Cron already has mucho use for subway use. I have been shooting Tri-X at 650 ISO and at F2.0 I get 1/60 second shutter speed.

For fashion week the crowds and fleeting shots made me want my Noct-Nikkor and a F3 in auto mode with a motor drive. Oh-well.

Cal,
I wound up outside the tent at Lincoln Center. Had to bring the big guy: The Nikon 180mm f2.8D

I probably could have done it with an M and a 90mm, but............ well you know.. :)

The evening of Fashion Night Out I had my Leica with the 28 Cron, but I would of been better equipt with a F3 with my Noct-Nikkor.

Just bought some Acufine for pushing film speed. I want to do some night shooting. I figure the Noct-Nikkor and the Plaubel 69W will be my night rigs.

The 28 is perfect for me.
