New York NYC Holiday Meet Up?

Barrett, I was surprised you weren't there. We should try for a mid-winter meet up. Beat the winter blahs.

It was great meeting everyone and seeing some cool gear.

Michel: Ugh, I know. Let's definitely try for something before too long. Hoping everyone's having a reasonably good holiday so far!

I had a killer headache yesterday and when I got home from work I passed out. Sorry to have missed the meetup and I hope to meet everyone in the future!

It was a good time meeting all you guys.. I really didnt get to talk to you much Damaso, but everyone was cool.. I think because of you, everyone at the table is going to get a rapidwinder now...

Did one of you guys do a BIN for the black Rapidwinder on Evilbay? Chistmas day it was gone.

Although I live in Queens, Manhattan is probably best for most.

For all you guys who missed out on the first meet-up. There was a lot of cool gear. M9; 75 Lux, Rapidwinder. There was a lot gear sharing.

Also pretty funny is how we all were somewhat familure. I laughed pretty hard when I realized I knew Scott through a post.

Okay, let's aim for January, perhaps a Saturday or Sunday is better for some people? Anyone suggest an alternate location?

Damaso,

Since you are a beer hound, what about David Copperfield's? I gave you the beer menu that constantly gets updated. Ninety-one differant beers, some with alcohol content in the double-digits. There is also a beer tasting sampler that allows a personalized selection of five beers for $18.00.

The location is 74th and York. Nearest subway is the six train at 68th and Lex.

The food is also good.

what about the ambiance? Seriously I do love beer but the surroundings count for something too! Perhaps an advanced research party should be organized...

I was there during the week and the place wasn't mobbed. I'm thinking that on the weekend it might get crowded. York Avenue is kinda out of the way.

Food is Shepard's Pie, Fish and Chips...

Probably not good for a weekend. We will likely be a big group, so space is a concern.
