The former site of Indian Point, the nuclear power supply, is undergoing a fast track to do the decommissioning. Usually it takes about 40 years to complete a decommission of a nuclear reactor, but this fast track is suppose to take only 12 years.
Already there is talk about redeveloping the site by the Hudson River into a Data Center. The high tension power lines are already in place and are infrastructure connected to the grid.
People who do crypto currencies similarly don’t understand the power requirements to power a block chain. If they knew they too would see that crypto also is not sustainable. When it fails it pretty much is a Ponzi.
Paper assets seem to be loosing value: currencies; stocks; and bonds; all involve trust but that is eroded.
That is why physical assets like gold or real estate seem like safer bets to preserve wealth.
Again to me AI has it’s application, but it creates more problems than it fixes. I don’t think it is scalable the way investors are looking at it.
The F-35 operates like a flying Data-Center. It can fire missiles that are on other planes like a F15 EX holding 24 medium range air-to-air missiles while in its stealth mode using its sophisticated electronics to locate targets.
This is the most expensive fighter jet in the world.
