New York NYC July Meet-Up

Erwin Puts just posted on Facebook that he is selling his silver-chrome M9P (in showroom condition), because he is now using the Monochrom, the M and the M8.2. Price is Euro 3750.
Interesting what he choose to keep.
Any takers?

Won't be able to make the next meeting, as I have to go out of town.

Cal,
for punishment, you need to write; "I shall buy less bodies and more lenses" 100x.

Christian,

Always have a weakness for clean old cameras. I'm glad that I got my M3-DS back and that 50 Rigid.

I'll be taking a retro-step backwards by bulk loading Kodak 5222. Meterless Leicas, single coated glass, and old school film. I also gave a 35/2.8 Summaron and a 35/1.8 Nikkor in LTM.

Steve,

That is interesting. It will be nice checking out "The Garden Of Good And Evil" next week.

I just got a Fed Ex tracking number. I should have the 13x19 inch Piezography portfolio tomorrow Friday the 19th. Included is a digital negative sample.

Hmmm. Contact printing from the Monochrom...

I suggested to John that we consider publishing some type of photo book from the NY Meetup group.
I know we're individually creating books, but it might be fun to do a collaborative venture.

Any thoughts?

Jeff

Sound like a good project idea but I'm not sure how easy it will be get all these individuals into one book;).

Sounds like Fun...
An Homage to The NY School ... (art scene)

Though we may All kill each other on the Editing Floor

I will try my best to come this Sunday. Cal, i would like to collect that Norwood Director, finally. Sorry to impose on you in storing it for such a long time.

Also, i would be interested in doing NY Meetup group book. I guess I would be able to discuss it on Sunday.

Also, I would be interested to use a couple of rolls of Kodak Double X. Anyone has it? I would like to trade for either Tri-x or HP5.

Sam,
I have some Double X left. Most of mine is spooled into Nikon RF canisters but I have t least 200ft still on the core. I won't be able to make it to the meeting on Sunday (unless my hours get cut like last weekend, which is a possibility) but I can meet you in the city on Friday and give you a few armlengths in a light tight canister for you to spool. All my 35mm cans are either full of undeveloped/exposed film or in storage, I'm pretty sure but I'll check.
PM me for my cell #.

Phil Forrest

Today I dumped a few MM files at the local Art store to have some prints made on an Epson 9900 on Canson Platine Photo Rag.
I hope I can pick them up by Saturday. If that works out, I'll bring them on Sunday.

That should be interesting. I'll bring a some miscellaneous test prints. I'm also curious if Cal will come up with something.

Today's meet at Puck Fair. Decent turnout, good exchange, and beautiful DS M3 with L-seal from Cal.

Sam, it's too bad you couldn't make it. We always look forward to seeing your collection of oddities. It was a different type of meet-up today... more print based meet-up as opposed to gear. It was cool to see.

It seems like we are transitioning from being gear-heads to being print-heads.
Btw, Jean-Marc, Cal has your wollensak lens cap for the Omega. It was left on the table.
