I'm going to fly to Odessa, Ukraine (Odesa) for a few days next week. I would be delighted if someone here could perhaps give me a few pointers of what to see and where to go with my camera. I have a friend with me who can speak some russian so I guess we won't have language problems.

I have been there for a few days about 10 years ago. I remember that there was some kind of pedestrian zone with lots of artist selling painting. Also I recall that I was very impressed by the old but very nice stairway of the hotel. Thus if you are interessed in architecture enter some hotels. You might be positively surprissed what you will find.

Rafal Milach (young modern Polish photographer) really likes these areas.
