Off the wall question for a lens guru

If I had a 50 mm lens on my camera and took a picture of a tree 100 feet away then used the same lens to make an enlargement on a piece of paper 100 feet away (it is a very magic lens) would the image of the tree be the same height as the tree?

It had always seemed to me that it would be but frankly I know nothing of optics and got to wondering today if that is actually valid or not.

As long as the lens is held the same distance from the negative to project the image as it was when the image was made, yes.

Thanks all. Just wasn't sure whether or not something in the design of the lens would cause it to react differently after x number of feet of projection.
