I do have a nephew who is going to be two in January.
As of Wedensday next week I'll be celebrating my 12th anniversary of my 25th birthday or 37 depending on your math skills. As for the shot, a friend of mine scanned it digitally as I do not have a scanner at present. The Lith effect was more by accident than by design. I was just sitting on the bench near the board walk with my Leica and I got this shot. I this one, I did something similar with a Nikon F the same day but different shot.

Here's a picture for the "summertime fun" contest. Shot in Montreal with a Canonet G-III QL17, HP5+.

Personally, it reminds me of post-WWII era photographs. Hope you guys like it. 🙂
 
Only 4 photos have been submitted for the Oh Canada Summertime Fun project. I'll extend the deadline until the end of August. The photo that I decide best illustrates the concept will win a coffee and muffin for its maker. Let's get some more photos in!
 
Didn't even notice that the deadline was yesterday... gotta finish that scanning!

BTW, too bad the only "Summertime fun" shots I have that can be shown here were taken with a Stylus.

went to Caribana too. Took 2 rolls and they got lost when someone stole my camera equipment. Ah sometimes I just could pour coffee over a crooks head.

Joe, the Caribana festival takes place annually in Toronto, around the last weekend of July..

Hi Joe

yes I took 3 cameras, my Oly XA, your Oly RC, and a Nikonos III on a trip to Vancouver 3 weeks ago. The cameras and a lot of other stuff as well as exposed film were stolen from the trunk of the new Avis rental car I had leased.

Reported to the police, and Avis, I doubt anything will come of it except I'm out of pocket and I lost a lot of quality shots from Toronto summer events as well as 3 days of shots in Vancouver.

Rats! there I said it and I feel better.... not really.
