Who's the go to for CLA for these cameras? DAG? Youxin? Mine needs some service (I think). At the very least reskinning the grip.

Basic cleaning and service, Youxin does great job. If something needs modification, or major rebuilding, DAG is your best bet.
Re-skin is a DIY, very simple
First roll died as I thought it had been fully rewound and opened up the base plate to find it hadn't...
Second roll survived the loading and unloading. I was shooting with a Summitar I just bought on Delta 400 pushed to 1600 as I was shooting inside a dark engine shed at Didcot Railway centre. First, it was very difficult to focus in that light and secondly, I must have been using the viewfinder incorrectly as I had a tiny bit of cropping at the top of each frame. Next time I'll be a bit further back. But I liked the results mostly and enjoyed shooting a 1933 camera in a 1932 engine shed!
Semi-stand in Rodinal 1:50 for one hour.

You've done well Charles. The Summitar looks to be a decently sharp lens. I have a roll of colour in a IIIf at the moment which came with a 5cm Summitar, and did some photos with it on black and white recently, too. Will be interested to see what I get with it.

Thanks Brett - I'm very happy with the results from that, although I really did choose a silly place to start shooting with it! I'm going to use it on my M3 with unpushed film on less dark subjects and see what I get out of it. I might put a roll of colour through too (with circumspection as I hate developing it!).

The Summitar 50mm f2 is such a wonderful lens, with some inclination to flare, but in the right conditions absolutely brilliant. Shot on the Leica III with Kodak Tmax 400 pushed to 1600 and developed in Rodinal 1:50 semi-stand for one hour.

I've been using the Elmar 35mm f3.5 a lot but without a finder - just estimating from the 50mm viewpoint. Finally my Canon Sure Shot AF7 turned up along with the 3D printed window, and I made up this one - hugely bright, if slightly dominating the III. It looks better on the M3. I suspect a chrome screw mount camera would look better - second thoughts, let's not go there.
