on ebay this evening there is/was an olympus om4t with winder 2 for bin of $170. i figured i could sell my black mx with 40 lens, but i decided no. go look!
 
Good price ... I just hate to say this, but ... I don't like the way the finish on the non-black T bodies ages. And believe me, I really like titanium ... I carry titanium with me at all times. :D

Maybe some black tape, hmmmm...........

The main difference with the OM-4 compared to a 2 is the spot meter right?
 
So, why would anyone watch "Dancing With the Stars" when a remake of "The Prisoner" is on?

Either way, why be on eBay when you know us GAS sufferers need to admit we are powerless over GAS and seek a higher power, like booze or bad TV remakes...
 
I turned off cable the other day, no tv in home. Never had to watch DWTS as wife is always organizing schedules so no uptick in life force sadly.

It is a great price. Wonder if it's a warning of things to come.....

The $170 BIN is a good price, but only $19 less than the $189 price for an OM4T in BGN condition at KEH.com (who has a very reasonable return policy).

A black one in BGN condition at KEH is $199.
 
Frank ... from memory you've just had carpal tunnel surgery?

I had both hands done several years ago and made the rather regretful decision to get both done at the same time! I also opted for the conventional surgery rather than arthroscopic ... very tedious few days initially and had to wander about looking like a failed suicide attempt! :p

No. Both the 4 and the 4t have the exact same metering system. The difference is the 4T has titanium top and bottom plates, a better made ISO setting dial that is less likely to get changed accidently, and can do high speed flash sync with the F280 flash. Also all 4T bodies have upgraded circuitry that does not drain batteries. Some plain 4 bodies do but most don't. The plain 4 was only made in black, the 4T was originally made in silver then later in black.
