Yeah, organize the camera collection! I have always wanted to ask, does anybody know a good camera cabinet/locker, maybe in ikea? I could not find anything like that..go to a huuuuuuuuuge ikea maybe?
but hey, the (very little) snow we got looks very nice on trees. It might be gone soon though...

Work in the darkroom, don't have one? Work on one.

Truth is beauty
Oh, what do you do when it is grey and dull out?
I go out with a couple of cameras and enjoy a lot... I can keep my grain and shoot wide open with SLRs too...
Cheers,
Juan

It's the best time to shoot. Many examples given here in response illustrate this.

In a way, there is no excuse, it's more difficult for others ....

I like that answer
Definitely agree that grey and dull days are fun for photography:

I wish I can have dull grey days here in my country.

Same here! I tell non-photographers that, and they look at me like I just escaped from the mental hospital. Bright sun is ugly, except in New Mexico. I could make it work there, but not here in Indiana. The sun is ugly here.
Exactly my thinking, except the location would be Shanghai - ever saw Shanghai in bright daylight? Bah !
This is why I love the nights - I shoot mostly during the night, but otherwise prefer the perfect weather - foggy, rainy and windy for shooting.
As has been said - the gear can take a beating.
I love the rain, next to reflections, weather and peoples changing behavior, you will find situations like people fighting with umbrellas:

Even in dull light, one can find a smile …

… or two:

I love the night for the total absence of sunlight:

Or a stormy day for a change:

For me the question is mostly not the situation outside, but the mood I am in, which can result in times, where just nothing goes - no imagination, no pictures, then you better put photography out of your mind for a change and do something else (BUT NEVER GO WITHOUT A CAMERA - bad mood/ weather or not)
The umbrella fighting gentleman, riding the bicycle has been taken within less than 10 sec, seeing the man, fighting and almost bumping into me, while I was searching for a taxi in the cold rain.
I pulled one of the cameras out of the bag and took one shot.
You don't take a camera (or just an iPhone, which would be simply too slow and clumsy here), you miss stuff!

Why yes Ma'am - it folds
That looks like a Fiat 131 Brava I used to own.
I just go out and photograph... regardless of the weather.
