I re-registered with this username because my previous username, Shutterflower, has been locked out of the site - at least from posting anything. Others have posted the same problem.

I get the 60 second warning, even without having posted anything in hours.

I can't send PMs.

My post count has been cut down from 1600+ to 1062. Others have posted the same problem.

this is not cool

Maybe we all need to chip and and get a full power professional internet security/web developer to create a site that is stable and secure for us.

Someone elsewhere said these problems could be aimed at specific users. Do you think someone would bother with that?

If so then I must have really P****D someone off. I kept getting the soory you van not post message till I re-logged in. I agree it is irratating

I have not been able to post all day, PM's or messages. Finally got off a reply PM this evening (I think) and I don't know if this will post or not.

However, it's just technical difficulties. I get chafed as well, but hey, life is like that. Whaddaya gonna do? Make demands? Threaten to leave? Jorge is, I am sure, mindful of the problems and working to fix them - I doubt he'd just say the heck with it.

As to post count - I don't know if mine has changed or not. I don't care what my post count is. What difference does that make?

You can have all of mine if you like.

It's just that the post count reflects my postings . . . I only fear that my many hours of written work have disappeard as well.

Addendum: I actually deleted all the old threads I started, 'cause I figured they were
just wasting valuable memory--and you guys say yours are BEING deleted??

I only fear that my words won't disappear. Google - land of all my sins remembered. Would that they were writ on water.

No need to worry. This is just a rough patch brought about by technical issues, which Jorge is working on. This too shall pass. In a way, it's good for us to experience some difficulties with RFF, in order for us to realize how important it is to many of us. Perhaps this will remind us to treat the forum respectfully once it is again soon working properly.

I said, below, that that count reflects alot of writing, and I would hate to see a considerable pile of work just disappear into the void. I could care less if the count were 10 or 10,000 - so long as my work remained.

Fred, if you delete a thread you started, everyone who posted in that thread loses their posts and their post count goes down as a result.

I don't suppose anyone notices any images from their galleries missing. . .

I can't remember if when you go into your "My Photos" section, it shows everything you have posted, or just those in the "Members Galleries" section.

The ones i posted to the contest are not anywhere to be found in my photos on the site.
