OK, What's Next??

Hi, I like how you have the latest images in the gallery on the homepage now. How come they are all cropped though? Yikes, I'm not HCB but...it still wrecks most of my pictures as a thumbnail.

Could you link the search function to the image gallery so we can search picture information fields to see pictures taken with particular lenses. That would be super cool!
 
Another vote for some kind of more static/organized data sharing/ Wiki.

This I would like to see, and I'm not sure it's not possible now. I simply don't know enough:

I would like to have an automatic option to be notified if anyone is answering a thread I started, without going through the "registration" procedure.

And the same if someone is answering any thread while quoting my answer.

I find it tedious to answer in 10 seconds and then have to spend three more actions to register to the thread (I'm spoilt I know...)

When someone replies, you will get an email, click on the link in the email and it will open the thread at the last non read post.

(This probably won't happen, but I'll at least try)

What about changing the gallery software to a different one ? to make it easier to navigate ?

I much prefer flickr because it's so easily navigable. If RFF gallery was anything like flickr, I'd rather post my pictures here.

The way it is now, I just don't use it. I don't have the patience. If I want to edit description of my photo, or delete it - I need to make far more clicks than is acceptable. With the entire page reloading each time... Web 2.0 is the future.
 
I for one, would love for there to be a spell check feature for posts. :)
I'm a terrible speller, always have been.
