Old Film Cans Project: Roll 1

Nice. Thanks for the sleuthing. I don't think I'll get another roll done this weekend (Canadian Thanksgiving) but I'll try during the week or next weekend.

Any more comments/questions on this roll are welcome and encouraged.

So look at the mountains:

The left mountain is the one in picture nr.3.

Next: picture nr. 4-5:

Maybe we will find the village :)

I only just discovered this thread ... interesting stuff and a break for me to look at old photod that haven't cost me hours of work! :D

Thanks Keith. I didn't spend as much time on these... they're pretty much straight scans.

Just like on one of your rolls... next roll is on a cruise ship so we'll see how that goes.

Truly amazing! Makes me wonder: if some rolls from today were stored for decades, would they be as fascinating to the future people as these are to us today?
For me anyway, it's like looking into an alternate universe, being fairly young...

But imagine how fascinating will be the rolls Mr. Keith and CapitanK scan now! They're oldest!:D

Kind of cool to see how the fungus growth pattern has matched the lighter tones of the photo, for instance where it's as if it's river borne.

this is cool. I am going to get my boys involved. They are into mysteries. All I can say is whoever took the photos had a very good eye for composition. (the waterfall shot, etc). Is this 35mm or Med. Format? any idea of the camera used?
