Thanks for posting, that was a fun link. I have a number of books about antique photographs from China, and a couple of these books show a side-by-side comparison. I also collect magic lantern glass slides of places I have visited, and have taken recent digital photos from the same perspective as some of the pics from the old glass slides dating from 1870s until about 1920.
