I have the opportunity of purchasing the following lenses to use on the M8
They are all Leica screw mount and I have adaptors
f1.5/50mm Sonnar
f2.8/45 mm Rokkar
f2/35mm canon black and f1.8/35mm canon black
f3.5/35mm Nikkor and f1.4/50mm nikkor
f3.5/28mm nikkor and f2.8/35mm schneider xenogon
Does anyone have any comments on these

All are well regarded. If they are in good condition, your decision must be based on focal length(s).

The primary consideration is condition. Inspect each lens for cleaning marks. The older the lens, the higher the possibility of cleaning marks.
I've seen a lot of Sonnars that have been treated rather badly.

While both the above are quite right, I've gotta say one of those Canon 35's would make a very nice standard lens on an M8.
I've just rediscovered my old Kowa 35mm f2.8 on the M8 (probably similar vintage to the Canons) and it makes gorgeous pictures.

Which Sonnar do you mean? The new Zeis or the old Canon?
