Greetings,

I'm almost done shooting up the old HP5 120 roll film that was in my freezer and am almost down to a sealed brick of ORWO NP27 film. This is an old style silver rich film with a 400 ISO. Images shot on this stuff, developed in Rodinal were fantastic. But, I want to save this stuff for worthy subject matter unless I can find something similar.

What films out there in 120 size in particular are like the older silver rich films? I used to shoot Tri-X and HP5 back in the '80s and early '90s but preferred the look of ORWO, which was not easy to come by in the USA. Thoughts?

Thanks,
Greg

Freestyle has a large selection of 120/220 film you may want to try some of the Fotokemika Efke films, nothing as fast as 400 but the 100 iso 35mm I shot was very nice.

For what its worth, the J&C people recently recommended the Foma 400 to me as the best "old look" film.
