I like the first lone clump of grass - it reminds me of Dougal from the Magic Roundabout

I think the opening image is spot-on; the framing, the light, the mood, it's all there. It's an image that can tell your story all by its own.. and why don't you let it do that? None of the other images below it even comes near.. Just that one image and a small text block and you'd have a killer page.. Well, that's what I think anyway..Let me know what you think!

I like the photos but I have a question. Was the the man changing his shredded tire suspicious of you, or the other way around?

I like the set and the aesthetic, although I think you have four-five more photos in it than needed. I'd edit down to the strongest nine.
I was also surprised that you didn't photograph the man fixing his tire. Although he might have seemed suspicious of you, I would have been drawn to engage with him and made a photo or two.

Thanks for all the comments! Regarding editing down the set, I'll give it a week and revisit my choices again. I guess I'm thinking the set is somewhere in between art photos and a documentary set, so for the documentary purpose, I wanted all that I included, but I can see that for an "art" set that it would be stronger with a different selection... have to rethink about my final intent again -- being forced to think is always a good thing! Regarding shooting the guy, I wouldn't have felt comfortable doing so because he was suspisous of me and he wanted his space. Also, I have an attachment to the set and if I would have included photos of him, it would have more revolved around how you identitified with him. "People photos" can be so strong because of how we respond to the people photographed. It seems to anchor photos too much for my intentions, but occasionally I connect and photograph people. Thanks all for looking and for your comments!
