Check out the Fujifilm Silvi 2.8 or Zoom Date 2.8 ( same camera ). Prices are climbing for that one too. I have one I let my daughter use. Tiny nice 24mm f/2.8 camera.

Pretty easily actually reflecting the expected short shelf life out in the field.
mju1 seems a bit sturdier than mju2.

A few years ago, I bought a Bargain grade Olympus Infinity Stylus Zoom from KEH for less than $5. I think it's the most basic, non-DLX version, with a 35-70mm f/4.5-f/6.9 zoom. Seeing some of the going prices now, maybe I should sell it...

Every art student/art scene kid seems to have a fixed lens compact 35mm point and shoot. I had to give up looking for an xa. Spent the money on a rebel and 40mm which does the same (for me)
