Been there, done that, Greg. I found they were less expensive than the equivalent Nikkors. Now if I can just get the camera bodies to hold together...

BTW, two weeks after I sent you that Canonet hood, someone gave me a GIII.

My M42 Takumar infatuation didn't keep me distracted for long.

Just pulled the trigger on the OM 24mm f2.8. It's the last one I need, really. Except maybe that 100 2.8.

Sigh.

I just broke off my T-20 flash using it on a Mamiya M-645 when it rolled over on the car seat.

Now I need to source another (two actually, I still need one for my daughter)

I am scared of what else I may buy while searching for the flashes.

I came across an OM-F, and while the thought of focus assist is nice (though it won't work in low light), I was really interested in the Adaptall-2 mount still attached to it. A crappy photo, dirty camera, and rotten description made it easy to not go overboard on the bid. I won it for $0.99, and $8.50 postage.

Not to be sacrilegious re those who use them on OM camera bodies - but OM MF lenses work extremely well on Nex cameras in my experience - I have a reasonable 😉 collection and use them all the time

Oly GAS!

Got more coming..

A very dirty OM-F arrived this morning, with an Adaptall mount still attached. Well, stuck to it would be a more apt description. I did manage to get the adapter off. Could take a day to clean the camera. I'm not complaining though for 99 cents.

Hi all.
My Olympus OM4 arrived today in the mail, it was a good buy on ebay, But after
cleaning it a little is really a sweet little camera. Oh one question I need a motor drive
cap on the bottom, And I switched the battery cover on it and there both the same
size any hope finding one or would a om2n cap fit?

Buy a winder. The missing ones on the camera are usually to be found in the winders sold seperately, as the original owners forgot where they once put it over time. In the battery compartment of the winder is a place to store the cap.

Funny you should mention that, as my Winder-2 has a cap in it. Stuck pretty good, too. I'll try to get it out later.

The winder cap for the OM-4(Ti) will not fit into the cap holder spot of the Winder 2. The cap for the OM-4(Ti) is bigger than the cap for an OM-1 or OM-2. In the Winder 2, the cap is held in place by a rubber-like pad that turns into a glue-like substance over a number of years. It can be pretty hard to get the cap out, and then it is covered with black sticky stuff.

Yeah, it looks more like it's lodged, not stuck by the pad. Hey, Yashica's have the "Pad Of Death", so should we call this the "Pad Of Recalcitrance"?

So far, so good. I managed to get one T-20 for under $10 delivered, without buying anything more.

Now I need one more T-20.

I'm going in....

Wish me luck!
