Oly G.A.S.

Yup, but that logic doesn't appeal to a lot of people. I don't know why but I've noticed that beliefs are stronger than reality.

I forgot, the last two shots are from a Nikon P7700. This was from a project for another forum, and I didn't delete the two digital shots before posting them here. I'll leave them up as a comparison.

EDIT: I marked the two Nikon shots.

Well, I held off as long as I could, but won a 3.5/28 this morning. It's going to take a while to build up a kit of this stuff.

So far I've have in the last 3 weeks pick up a OM4, two 50mm f1.8's a 28mm f 2.8
with box in great condition and last Sunday a Black OM1n nice, works great
except for the meter which does not work. When you start with Olympus it's
really hard to stop.

The kit is starting to come together quicker than I thought. Got a 75-150, and a 135 with M4/3 adapter coming. Now if I could just snag an OM-1 or -2.

Last week I pick up on ebay, another black Olympus OM1n with a working meter
which is great, I have three om1's but the first two are good but no working meter
in either. so it's hit and miss with these guy's

Got the 75-150 in, and it looks new. The 3.5/28 has a bit of something inside the front element (too much lens cleaner perhaps?), but doesn't look like it will affect the image much.

I've got hoods for the 50 and 28 coming, along with a long remote cable for the motor drive. Then I found a black OM-2n with the W-1 drive. Along with the Oly stuff I already have, that should keep me happy for a while, and make for a nice kit.

Yay, I just bought an OMG with a winder, 3 lenses, plus extension tubes and two tripods on eBay. Hope I didn't buy a big box of junk. But for the price that I paid, I don't think that I took too big of a risk.

Found another OM-10 down at the junktique store, with a T-20 and 1.8/50 attached. The owner immediately gave me $5 dollars off, since I buy so much stuff from him. Got it home, and it's smoother cranking than the one I already had, plus there's no foam residue all over the finder screen. And it came with the manual adapter, so I don't have to bother with switching it around if using both bodies.

Then the 135 with M4/3 adapter showed up in the mail, along with an Olympus thin Polarizer. I found out you don't turn the filter clockwise, or it backs out of the filter mount. Those thin threads just don't have much purchase on them.

So I had to order a bag to hold my burgeoning Oly collection. I'll be glad when this kit finally comes together.

I ****ing did it guys.

Every 50mm Zuiko.

that brings my current collection to:

50/1.2
50/1.4
50/2.0
50/3.5
55/1.2

add in the two 50/1.8 MiJ's Ive owned (and the latest 50/1.4, too) I've had one of each now. Ill have to call my grandfather and let him know; after all these are his cameras even if theyre my lenses. Gotta buy some film to celebrate!
