Someone gave me this camera with no manual. When I am too close to a subject the green light flashes slow and steady cause I am too close, I understand this. But why does the green light flash rapidly sometimes when I focus on something at a normal distance? I can move the target a bit and the green light is solid. Why does the green light rapidly flash sometimes? Bye the way, I have the fixed lens Oly Epic and it doesnt act this way. Thanks

Grey scale thanks for the manual link. The manual doesnt directly answer my problem. It does say that the camera has trouble focusing on differnt things but doesnt mention the rapid blinking light. And it doesnt make sense cause It will be solid green on a subject where it will flash on something right next to it of similar tone and qualitys. Also it flashes 80% of the time. My Oly epic never does this
aad. I am not sure what you mean. It does this even when I turn off the flash.

aad. I think you are refering to the fast blinking light= cant focus right? This makes sense now, and my camera is probably faulty cause it does it most of the time. Thanks for the help.
