Finally finished the roll in my new XA. I really like this camera and film!

Thanks David, I would love to be walking in your town with an XA and 10 rolls of Ektar. Small town life forces you to look very hard for shots.

Here's a shot with that Kodak VC stuff:

And I would rather be in a small town than in the city. :D

I really love the colors in your photos. They're stunning. I'm going to go buy a few rolls of ektar!

Greetings, inland neighbor. :)

I especially like the third shot with how golden Ektar rendered the light. So far, I've only tried out a roll in my Canon QL17 and didn't end up with such nice light to try it on.

thank you Leighgion, I used an Olympus XA and am surprised it didn't flare in that shot. When the sun sets down that Clearwater Valley and there are any clouds in the sky it can get real golden. Wonder if they make a skylight filter to fit the XA?

Thanks ishpop, I got lucky. That was in a barn during a pig show. The sun sets where that doorway is and those people just happened to walk in.

Excellent shots, MichaelHarris! I have not tried Extar on my XA, but I've noticed that the XA excels w/ contrasty, saturated films, like the "old" 400UC. I've just ordered a couple of rolls of Ektar, and they're going in my XA when they arrive!

Very nice!

I have an XA and I can get some Ektar, what I can't get around here is the landscape scenery like yours :)

I got myself four rolls of Ektar 100 a few weeks back and still haven't given it a go yet. I've plans to use a roll in the XA too along with my Hexar Silver. Good shots btw.

Wonderful shots. The 4th photo is especially good. I live up the street from you in Spokane. I understand how difficult it can be to find good shots this time of year.
