Well, I received my Ebay Olympus 35RC a few days ago. $21.00, so I knew it wasn't going to be perfect. But it only has a fritzed exposure counter, and a dent in the filter ring that I was able to straighten. Here are the first shots using my favorite try-it-out film, Costco Fuji Superia X-Tra 400. These are Costco scans (about 4.5 to 5.0 megabytes). One is a very large crop of the corner area of a Hot Dog stand that I go to.

The next two are; one for pincushion or barrel assessment, and the other is for just fun. It looks like it will be fun. Sorry about the tungsten shift.

robbiechad, sounds like you got a better deal than I (or is it me). We just don't have these camera sales in California. Nice photos.

payasam, There is some distortion, but not much compared to my Konica C35.

The pictures are very good. The hot dog stand shows us how good colours could create this camera even with a convenient film. By the way the breakfast big bite hamburger seems to me a strong start of a morning. I think I'm going to eat something like that. :)

Robbiechad,
Your photos are also very nice and especially interesting for me because this is the first time I'm going to shoot B&W with my RC, so can't wait to see the results. To tell you the truth I'm very satisfied with the first rolls of my ECR and RC (I'm a foolish guy I bought two almost similar cameras...).

Honestly, I'm just thinking about my ECR and RC olympus cameras like hidden treasures!
