Hi!
I saw a wonderful Oly 35 RC and I want it but I don't know how much should I pay. What about the batteries?

Thanks
Luca : 😕

I bought mine for €. 25,- , but that was a steal (in excellent state). I think the price would be between € 25,- (or $) to 75. The PX625 batteries can still be bought at ebay or at some specialised websites.
The 35 RC is a magnificent camera, though the lens is small, it is legendary.

The Olympus 35RC is a very likeable camera.

IMO the best features are the little round shutter speed dial on the top plate,
just like a classic SLR, and the full-exposure information viewfinder.

The short base, short throw rangefinder is not the best - not too contrasty.
And the Olympus glass, though fairly sharp, is a little cool for my tastes...

Excelsior, you fathead!

I was lucky. I bought a mint 35RC for $10 at a yard sale, which came with a B+W protective filter; and then one nice fellow from Edmonton gave me a brand new lens hood made for the camera. I haven't found a strap for it yet, however. I'm still using a shoelace. 😀
