I was thinking exactly the same, I still have the the Oly 50-200 4/3 sitting in a bag, this toy could give him a new life. Somebody knows if there is any compatibility to be looked at or just any Android or iOS tablet or phone can be attached? In particular is it already clear whether it can be attached to tablets instead of smartphones?
Also, even tough one has to read carefully what can be exactly done, if, as it seems, it can be remotely triggered a similar setup coupled with a radio trigger could give even more stability and could in fact be an improvement on 100 years of camera ergonomics, not to mention that could be left really far away from the person taking the pictures which I guess is very good for wildlife photographers.
Maybe people should stop being so critical on any new gadget which comes out, nobody is going to take our century old cameras from us but any new tool opens new opportunities.
The only question is: how many people would call 911 if a guy with a bazooka like that pictured AND a radio trigger is walking in their neighbourhood?

I would only wish that I had one of those Olympus ZD 90-250/2.8 lenses ... ! I might call a hit team to get the darn lens... ;-) I've got a 50-200/2.8-3.5 and EC-14 that I don't use much. It's not as impressive but covers about the same focal length range.
The Olympus Air, to me, is a relatively inexpensive, programmable, remote-controllable process camera that can capture both stills and video. The more I think about it, the more it seems a great gizmo to work with for various stuff. I have eight lenses spanning from 18mm FE to 580mm EFoV to use with it...
All that for three Hamiltons. Such a deal. This will be fun.

This is RFF... If it doesn't have a red dot and loads film, it can't be good by definition.

If it had one many members would cover it with black tape, just put some tape somewhere and pretend there is a red dot below...

I was reading comments about the air in one of the m43 forums...one thing that caught my eye was from someone looking at the air who owns both the Sony qx family. Both the 1 inch sensor and the apsc. He commented that the af on the 1 inch sensor was fine, so he picked up the qx1 assume it would be just as good and was very disappointed. He was looking forward to trying the Olympus version.
