Well, I have tried several different brands of manual focus lenses on this body with appropriate adapters, including Minolta MD, Nokon, and M42. They work fine but difficult to focus well using only lcd (even with magnification). Recommendations please for a good auto focus walk around lenses for this body. I have heard such mixed reviews for original kit lens. Thanks.

Nothing really wrong with the original folding kit zoom except for the build quality. Not sure about the later kit zooms. The 25/2.8 Zuiko pancake lens with adapter is a favorite of mine. I also like the maligned 17/2.8 Zuiko.

Panasonic 20mm f/1.7, or (my favourite) 25mm f/1.4 DG-Summilux. Depends on how much you're willing to spend, and how important it is to be able to shove the camera in your pocket.

For the same price, though, you could probably pick up an E-PM1. Its simple controls aren't an issue with lenses that offer manual aperture control, and it gives you the option of adding an electronic viewfinder should you so desire.
