Hello,
I just picked up a new EPL2 to replace the EP2 that I sold a few months ago and regretted ;-(
Anyways i'm noticing something weird that i don't remember happening with the EP2, i'll explain below and am hoping someone can help me out.
When i put the camera in M Manual mode and throw on say a zeiss lens on the front using the 3/4 to m-Mount adaptor then dial in the correct exposure based on the meter reading the image in the LCD is completely different than the exposed picture. The picture is properly exposed but the LCD shows me a much darker preview before the shot, which is making it kind of useless. I hope this makes sense.
When i put the camera in Aperture Priority and let the camera adjust the shutter speed everything works as normal, image matches preview, it's only when the camera is in M Manual mode.
Any ideas? Am I missing something fundamental here? Is there a feature i need to turn on or am i just plain dumb ;-)
Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Cris...

In M mode, does the LCD brightness change when you alter the aperture? Try opening it all the way up and see if it gets brighter. My guess is there is some switch in the metering/LCD compesation in M mode vs A mode. But I'm just guessing here.
