Hows the shutter lag on the T2?

Just ordered my camera a few days ago, hope it will be with me soon and I will let you know how it goes 🙂
The AF can be a bit slow to latch onto a focus target. I've missed shots because of it. But in MF mode there is minimal shutter lag.

How do you manual focus with the T2? Does it come with a focusing ring?

I have had great success with my T2. While I'd love a fully manual camera, the manual focus works VERY well. And if you're a smart enough photographer you can "fool" the camera using the easily adjusted AE compensation wheel. Shot this last mo on Ektar 100.
The T2's lens is just amazing. And I've shot with Blads, RZs, Schneider large format lenses. This continues too amaze.
I like being able to pick my f.stop. Downside? Besides no manual shutter speeds, I find the frame lines a little vague
