That's what I'm going to do, the technician is second to none very good and skilled, specially in this type of cameras, friendly and economic... Now I'm at the beach, on monday I'll go back to home and see him... I've removed the base plate but I don't see nothing easy to do, time to wait

Well, I've forgotten this thread... I left the pen in the tech. and three days after it was ready (more or less 60$), it was one of the main springs broken... He also recalibrated the meter for 1.5V batteries!
