Olympus RC (another one!)

Hi

I've wanted one of these puppies for a long time and managed to come by one recently although I have to say it was no bargain.
Unfortunately the aperture ring is very stiff, it feels like it is almost glued and takes quite a lot of grunt to shift it whilst the focus ring is really loose. How does this compare with other RCs and is it a sure sign that it needs a service?

it's not the norm. both should be smoother but firm.
these little machines were not intended to last this long but they were built so well...
i have one i bought in the early 70's and had it cla'd a few years ago and it felt nice the last time i played with it.
