Hi all,
I have an Olympus stylus epic dlx (the one with panorama mode). At some point while it was in my pocket the panorama lever broke off and left if halfway between panorama and regular.
My question is, can I remove the back of the camera and adjust this setting from inside and just leave it in full frame mode permanently? Although I have never worked on a camera before, I can't imagine this would be a terribly complex procedure.
Thanks in advance.

Hi I'd like to re-up this since I have the exact same problem. Anyone know what to do when confronted with a missing panorama lever?

can blinds be forced back from film chamber?
I mean if there's no rod sticking in hole under broken off lever.

I have no specific experience with this camera, but if it were me, I'd be inclined to go in from the back, rip out the flaps that create the "panorama," and call it done.
