Theres a booth at the biggest consignment store in my city, which has brought me back a multitude of times.

It houses the biggest collection of old prints and enlargements, vintage travel maps, a few old radios, and things of the sort.

As far as I can tell, the owner used to work in a photo lab in the 60's and 70's. Tons of prints of political party gatherings, street photos, studio portraits, and high school photos.

I come back all the time just to search through different sections and see what cool or awkward prints I can find.

This past search, a small camera was hanging in the back of the booth on a drawer handle. I walk up and flip it around and Its an Olympus Stylus Infiniti in great condition with a battery. I look at the price tag, $10!!!

Not as great a deal as that foreign guy who found the Leica M camera for $5 in perfect condition but I was pumped. This was a few days before a trip to Nashville with my girlfriend. The perfect travel camera.

Here are a few quick picks from the trip, but if you'd like to see the whole lot and a developers note on the roll, head over to my blog:

I've had one from new, a few parts have fallen off or broke but I've been able to keep in running. When you get down to it this is the easiest camera there is to carry around and use: open it and shoot. You can do that with one hand.

You will be shocked at how sharp the lens is. Here is a shot from Turkey on Tmax 100 and a blowup of that shot:

The one I got at an antique store for $10 also came with the grey suede pouch. Used to find them at Goodwill for a couple of dollars, but they put everything photo related on eBay now. Great little cameras, and I like your photos.

There should be a law against that, it takes all the fun out of the shops. Anyway, it's one of the first laws I shall make once they have the sense to make me King...
