olympus VF-1 for 28mm

Is OLY VF-1 good enough for 28mm with outside of the frame?

It's a slightly different shape, 4/3 instead of 3/2, but it works for me using the entire frame, on my GRD III.

I know for different ratio but it is unimportant difference for external VF. Thanks Larry, I want to use it on GR. 😉

The entire frame is for 28mm FOV, while the frame line is for 35mm FOV. In 4:3 format. I use mine with the Fujifilm X10, whose native aspect ratio is also 4:3. Be aware that the VF1 wouldn't mount to my X10 hotshoe without whittling down the VF1 mounting bracket a bit. Don't know if this is because the VF1 bracket is too thick or the X10 hotshoe is too thin. I do like this viewfinder, good enough for the price.
