I love 1950's quality
I found an old Olympus wide on the fleamarket the other week. It has a 35mm lens, but no rangefinder. Judging from the built quality and styles the camera is from the late 50s, early sixties. The camera is not a beauty but works well. I got a test roll back yesterday and I'm pretty disappointed with the results. Usually Zuiko Glass is top notch but this one lacks sharpness and contrast quite a bit. The contrast I can live with but the sharpness issue is so untypical Zuiko, that I wonder if there is something wrong with the particular lens in my camera.
Is this lens generally a bit of a dog or do you have better experience?
