You might find something on said screws in the Service Manual here:
http://olympus.dementix.org/Hardware/olympus_hw.html
It lists all the parts and part numbers, but I think sourcing them will be your biggest issue. Good luck with your hunt!

There is a small shop selling a huge variety of screws in Vienna. I may have to spend an hour there

Oh really? Which one would that be?There is a small shop selling a huge variety of screws in Vienna. I may have to spend an hour there![]()
I recently moved to Vienna, and that sounds just like the shop I might visit!
My advice for sourcing these screws is salvaging dead bodies. It's a gamble, and often dead bodies don't come cheap for exactly this reason. But it's easier than trying to find the screws on their own.
At least if we're talking about the winder and battery cap.

HI,
I bought my winder cap from ebay for 15GBP, and I am not quite sure if it's the same seller, but there is one on sale there again:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GENUINE-O...t_Parts_Film_Camera_Parts&hash=item1c2e21e181
My OM1-N also had one screw missing, but I never tried to find it as the bottom plate was safe and secure without it. Good luck with your hunt!

you could try Frank Timmann in Hamburg (google OM-doktor). He is a former Olympus repair man, maybe he can help you with parts.
He has serviced my two OM1n and has done an excellent job. When it comes to OM related questions I trust him. Always helpful and up for some OM-talk...

Part numbers for Olympus chrome bottom cover screws for OM-1, 2 are PSK2x4SE. Basically that means 2mm diameter by 4mm long, chrome finish. Black screws end in SH. John

I have the same issue sourcing a replacement of the (old) plastic screw that hold the battery contact pin in a OM-1, nowhere to be found in a shop in Europe.

Yes, that is hard to find. You need 2.5mm thread diameter, nylon or some proper type of plastic with small head to clear battery housing, about 6mm long. John

I don't have any for sale. Google "metric nylon screws" or something like that and buy online. John

For future reference: the plastic screw is 2.15mm outer diameter, and it is definitely not M2.5. I ordered a bag of M2.5 nylon screws from china only to find that they're useless...
John, I respect your knowledge as THE OM guru, but please make sure you post correct information on internet.
