I love the grain to these shots. What film did you use?
Oh and keep the 24mm shots coming

It will be great!
Ljós, have you used the 28mm 2.0?
Shab, yes - in a sense. Returning from a vacation where I had used the Nikkor 28 3.5 more than I had expected I would, and subsequently switching to OM because of size and weight and softening the blow of M2-withdrawal ;-), I sourced a 28mm f2 Zuiko. I had it side by side with the 28 3.5 Nikkor and 2.8 28mm AIS. Unfortunately, the lens turned out to have have fogging on one element and beginning fungus on another. I was able to return it without hassle. I really liked the small size, considering how fast it is. I even pondered keeping it, and having it cleaned at a later point. My copy was affected (contrast/flare susceptibility) by the fogging etc., it was easy to see in side by side pictures. At f2 it was a bit dreamy, and very usable at f2.8. Very, very sharp from f4 on.
Itching to get another copy, most definitely! But for that to happen, my gear in the classifieds needs to move first!
Greetings, Ljós

There is a downside to being Zuikoholic, as I am sure most of you know.
Pretty soon, you get so many nice lenses that you cannot realistically take all of them with you on a trip. But you NEED to. But you CAN'T. It is a conundrum. I have found myself in such a conundrum this week. I just have this feeling that as soon as a photographic opportunity of a lifetime arises, it will need a lens that is sitting on the shelf at home.
How do you handle this?

Fred, it is Ilford FP4 Plus (exposed at 50 asa) and developed in HC110 .
rhl, thanks for posting 28mm 2.0 photos!
Sid, it is a problem, but I usually know which lens/lenses I want to use. Each lens is different and I use to use a 50mm and a wide angle lens. I bring with me the 50mm 1.4 G and the 24mm 2.8 MC to Sweden and Breizh (Bretagne).
I have also a 50mm 1.4 MC and I don't use it a lot...

For this trip, I've settled on five Zuiko lenses from 18mm to 500mm. There'll be mountains and cities and people and animals, so I took the broad approach to focal length.

...You need to make yourself more familiar with how the camera meters to get a feel for how much exposure compensation is necessary in a given situation.
Here's what I figure.
I get results I like with manual cameras and I don't get results I like with auto-exposure cameras.. So I prefer to use manual cameras. Works for me.

first roll with om2n and 50 1.8
Hey guys! I've been following this thread for a while now and have wanted an OM since the first post I read lol
I finally got a nice om2n for cheap on ebay (took a risk and it panned out). I was really surprised to see how great the auto exposure worked, nearly all the frames were metered well.
I just wanted to post the first few pictures here our of a roll of neopan 400, processed at a local lab; I moved out to an apartment far from my hometown this schoolyear for college and forgot my processing supplies at my pops', my bad.

Easy to become Zuikohilic, small Cameras and excerlent Lenses, userfriendly and always delivering. As I did not like the big and heavy Nikons I had used I fell in love with the OM system after my Pen F system was robbed away...
Nerver have the OMs not deliverd for me. Keep on using them!
