Ranger Copy: 28/2.8, 28/3.5, 35/2.8, 50/1.8, 100/2.8, 135/3.5, 75-150/4 are all reasonably priced.
It only becomes a little expensive when you're after something a bit more special like 24/2 or 85/2 or a whole lot more expensive for lenses like 35-80/2.8 or 90/2.
If you're patient, you can find even a 24/2.8 or 85/2 at reasonable prices ( 24mm < $150 or 85mm < $200). I bought my 28/2 for < $200.

Wow my mint Om-4 & 50/1.4 turned up last night from KEH. Missing caps for the lens but otherwise is mint. Went out this morning on the way to the office and had a play. All I can say is WOW! If the results match the enjoyment of using it I am in heaven. Spotmeter is a godsend and it is so small. Don't miss my M6 at all. If I don't have the battery issue people talk about then I have found my perfect user camera. Thanks to all that advised me to push the button, and thanks Keith for your ongoing OM story which is a big part of why I now have one as well.

I personally recommend Keith Leedham, he's very good with Olympus, actually he's my go to man for everything. Very quick turnaround as well.

I'll second Hans for Keith Leedham. He repaired my OM4 and I got it back better than ever. Helpful advice, good prices, really fast turnaround and spot on repairs. He never looks at his email much as he's a bit of a computerphobe (but he's getting better!), so if you get no response, better to phone (Monday to Friday - office hours).

I've gone down to 1/8 but mirror shock does become an issue. I generally avoid shutter speeds below 1/30 with my Olys... if I know I'm going to be in a situation where I may have to use shutter speeds this low I'll grab a rangefinder!

I read your comments about fear of heights and wide angle lenses. I've never taken to wide angle either. The Zuiko 50/1.4 stays on my OM1-MD 90% of the time.

Gregor, Thanks very much for your kind words. I'm really glad you liked the photos. Yeah, I've got only one eye to shoot, but I'll keep shooting till the light goes away. 😉
I'm "training" myself with 28 and 35, but 28 feels still a bit too extreme for me most of times. 35 is getting a bit better, but I still feel 50mm is my "standard" and love 85mm on OM.
I better take my OM out a lot more. I've been having a bit of affair with Leica's girls lately. 😛

Hi all.
I'm going crazy trying to find a battery cover/cap for my OM4, I was wondering if anyone here could help!?
I have a number of OM bodies, but the only other cover that seems to fit is from my OM4Ti. I've been alternating the cover between the two cameras for a couple of weeks now but it's starting to get a little annoying now.
So if anyone has a spare battery cover or can point me in the direction of someone else selling one I'd really appreciate it.

Hi Rem,
I wanted the 85/2 but the 100/2.8 fit my budget better and it's very nice too.
It's compact, handles well, is reasonably fast and makes a great portrait lens.
Of my three lenses, the 50/1.4 gets the most use, but the 100/2.8 stays on the other body most of the time. Here's why:
