In my case, it was the moderate contrast of the 75-150 that disappointed me. I shot slides and they were clearly flatter w the 75-150 than w other Zuikos. Never tried it w B&W or color negs.
careful Keith, you've come across my magic sauce in that film + dev combo.
you may cry when Fuji finally axes Acros like I will.
It's always the way ... I bought 100ft of LP100 when Freestyle had it in stock and wasn't overly impressed after developing it in Xtol. It's a very different film in Rodinal IMO which I've only disovered recently! In Xtol it looked very digital for some reason ... where as Rodinal gives it some grain and bite.
I tend to stick with B/W films I can bulk load so it's not looking good when I finish what I currently have.
Here's another from the same roll ... it was an extremely bright glarey day and shot at about an hour or so after midday. Normally if I take pics at this time of day in light like this they look like crap!
Legacy Pro 100 was really Fuji Acros 100. I've only found two developers that gave nice tonality with Acros. Rodinal, and PMK Pyro.
That was why I got it ... at the price Freestyle were flogging it for, in hindsight, I should have got a lot more Chris.
I realise I can still get it in normal rolls but I don't find the price that attractive and I prefer to shoot 24 exposures at a time rather than 36.
Any B&W contrast filtration: medium yellow (Y 48) or orange (O 56)?
Nice tones, pleasant grain.
I think this late model 35mm f2 is a killer lens.
I recently went to Yakushima, an island in southern Japan known for being the inspiration for "Princess Mononoke". I took a 21/2, 50/2 and two bodies. I confess to little experience with slide film or with extreme humidity environments. Certainly, this resulted in a lot of bad shots. However, a few were worthwhile.
That is a magnificent capture.Although it actually looks poor in full-size, this 21/2 shot bookends the deer quite well (for fans of the film).
Olympus OM-2, Zuiko AUTO-S 50mm f/1.2, Kodak Ektachrome E100VS & Plustek OpticFilm 7400.
